On a respect for the aged day (2006.09.18) a holiday celebrated annually to honor elderly citizens, in Tokyo's Ueno Zoo celebration were held for Taro.
Taro is a Galapagos Tortoise (Geochelone nigra). Currently oldest animal at Ueno Zoo. 77 years old.
